Lepton Resolution

Currently I am using Shih-Chieh's lepton resolutions for the errors on the Kinematic Fitter.

Jet Resolution

This has proved to be a bit tricky, partially because the results on the old Jet Resolution study for CDF appear to be incorrect (message has been sent to authors of CDF Note but no response has been forthcoming). Phi and Eta resolutions appear to be mostly as expected.

Baur MC

Building

The Baur MC comes as a set of fortran files in a tarball. You can untar them on any machine, but the makefiles do not seem to work well at UCSD. To make it properly, you have to execute the following:

Failure to include -lshift gives you an error in some libraries that are not adequately linked to other libraries.

Running

Running the Baur MC is easy. The compiled package gives you an executable called zz. You can either attempt to enter all the options yourself and decipher their meaning, or use the prebuilt zz.in. I recommend zz.in.

./zz < zz.in

The default output is a set of Topdrawer files, but you can easily change this by setting the Paw option to 'y'. This can then be converted to a rootfile on the command line with h2root.

Analysis

Anomolous Neutral Triple Gauge

f4

It appears that rotating f4 through the imaginary plane does nothing to effect the Pt of the Zs. To check this, I plotted several Pt of the first Z for several different values of theta, the angle to the reals, of 0.3. The resulting graph is attached to this page, and is indistinguishable by eye:

Since we neither understand the nature of the imaginary phase in f4, nor do we actually understand how it effects the model, this statement may or may not have actual significance.
